The volcanicane is an extremely rare and catastrophic weather event that forms from powerful volcanic eruptions. It works by forming from the ashes of a stratovolcano and organizing with nearby thunderstorms into a cyclonic-type storm. They ordinarily resemble tropical cyclones, but have very light winds and rain down torrents of ash that can bury entire cities and ruin entire landscapes. Volcanic lightning is also a common occurrence and these systems are not affected by land, but will usually die once they hit water.
