Alex formed from a very good looking tropical wave it became Tropical Storm Alex with winds of 44 mph. It then rapidly became a strong tropical storm with sustained winds of 73 mph on June 5 but before it could reach hurricane status it suffered high wind shear and decreasing SST's and it degenerated into a post tropical cyclone on June 6.

Bonny formed from a complex interaction between a tropical wave and a upper level low over the Bahamas. It formed into TD 2 on June 8 but it quickly became a tropical storm on June 8 and then into a hurricane on June 9. It then peaked out as a 100 mph Category 2 hurricane near Bermuda it then passed over Bermuda as a slightly weaker 95 mph Category 1 hurricane it then quickly weakened to a tropical storm due to rapidly decreasing SST's and it then degenerated into a tropical depression later that day it then dissipated completely on June 10.
