It moved towards the central atlantic and it blasted to Tropical Depression 01 on May 2. 01 moved offshore of Florida on May 3. It became a tropical storm late. Subtropical waters lowered and Warm Waters became 81*F. Arthur was the name. Arthur rapidly became a category 4 hurricane on May 8. On May 13, it became a cat. 5 hurricane with winds of 160 mph, 137 knots and a pressure of 883 mbar. On May 16, it lowered to a TD. TD Arthur became a TS late on May 16. TS Arthur became extra-tropical on May 17. The remants dissipated on May 18.
